A statement issued by the interest of research, studies and documentation in the Lebanese Ministry of Tourism, said that the month of July 2014 has seen a rise in the number of arrivals to Lebanon from most of the Arab and foreign countries, has recorded the highest proportion of arrivals since the beginning of 2014.
The statement added that the total number of arrivals to Lebanon rose to 161.222 arrivals last month, registering an increase of 24.09 per cent compared to the same period of the previous year as the number of arrivals 129.922 arrivals.
The record arrivals Europeans to Lebanon last July the first place where they formed 41.2 per cent of the total arrivals, and numbered 66.476 during the month of July 2014, registered an increase of 20.2 per cent compared with the same period of the previous year, as the number of European expatriates 55.299 arrivals .
And occupied Arab arrivals to Lebanon last month ranked second, and accounted for 22.7 per cent of the total arrivals to Lebanon, while the total number 36.665 registered an increase of 37.1 per cent compared with the same period of the previous year, where 26.736 registered entrants.

In the UAE, attracted Festival «DSS» large numbers of tourists, especially Saudi Arabia.
The festival was launched on 2 August current, and lasts for two months, and offers a wide range of entertainment, art and games for children, as well as major discounts in stores and shopping centers.
And increased tourist traffic in the Sultanate of Oman, with the launch of «Salalah Festival» which attracts a large proportion of tourists from the Gulf.
The administration announced that the festival they received nearly 270 thousand visitors from various countries around the world, since the beginning of last month, and until the middle of this month, an increase of 73.4 per cent, from the previous year.
